POSITION LOCATION: General Studies, (1) Racine & (1) Kenosha/Racine
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Under supervision of the Dean of General Studies, the instructor(s) will perform the duties as specified below. Responsibilities include student advisement on academic issues, curriculum development, recruitment and retention efforts, committee work, and participation in efforts to market Gateway.
Racine position: Will teach a variety of psychology courses including introductory, developmental, and abnormal in both traditional and alternative (accelerated and Internet) formats.
Kenosha/Racine position: Will teach degree social science courses (psychology, sociology, etc.) via telecast to area high school students as a part of the VANguard program. Will also teach credit courses on both the Kenosha and Racine campuses to fill instructional assignment. VANguard courses generally meet daily starting at 7:20 a.m. Campus courses will be both days and evenings.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must meet ALL of the required

? Master's degree in psychology
? Kenosha/Racine position only: Must have 12 credits in sociology.
? One year
(2,000 hours) occupational experience in the field of education. Work experience must come from job duties listed on the Wisconsin Technical

? Working experience with computer
software systems.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
? Earned doctorate in psychology.
? Experience teaching students via
alternate delivery methods.
? Experience in teaching adults.
SALARY: Salary is a formulation based on education and
experience.
Salary range: $55,872- $75,476 for a 163-day contract.
